Garment Making & Pattern Cutting

Be your own designer and create your very own made - to - measure garment by acquiring ideas through magazines, internet etc, and using pattern cutting and sewing techniques gained during the course. For less experienced learners you can create a simple garment with easy step - by - step instructions that will cover pattern cutting and sewing techniques. All techniques are relevant to making men's, women's and children's clothes.

Entry requirements

Items to be brought to the first session should be pencil, rubber, paper scissors, tape measure and a note pad. Pattern cutting card and paper will be provided by the tutor at a minimal fee (payable to the tutor). Other equipment can be purchased through websites for example a 'PatternMaster', tracing wheels etc from www.Morplan.com and will be explained during the first lesson.
