Units for this qualification cover: ; Health and Safety Practices in Vehicle Maintenance ; Tools, Equipment and Materials for Vehicle Maintenance ; Automotive Foundation Skills ; Motorcycle Construction and Routine Maintenance ; Motorcycle Chassis Systems ; Motorcycle Engines ; Motorcycle Construction ; Motorcycle Assembly ; kills in Routine Motorcycle Maintenance Elements will include but are not restricted to: ; Brake Master Cylinder ; Front Brake disc ; Upside down telescopic forks ; Rear suspension swing arm ; Head stock bearings ; Rear Monoshock damper and progressive link ; Front wheel bearing ; Carburettors and multi carburettors ; Double Overhead Camshafts ; 2 Year/20,000 mile service Alongside your main programme of study you will also study either GCSE or Functional Skills in English and Maths if you have not achieved a GCSE grade A*-C. If you have achieved a grade C or above in English and Maths then you will engage in extending these skills through a project based activity.
