Gardening Foundation in gardening: Learn how to create an attractive garden and use this course as a stepping stone to a formal qualification. This is an introductory course for The Royal Horticultural Society Level 2 Certificate which will be starting in 2015. By the end of the session you should: Know the right horticultural procedures for working in your own or other peoples gardens. Understand how plants grow best and how you can turn this to your advantage. Be familiar with plant names and how to select plants for different areas of the garden. Be able to identify a range of plants and know what their characteristics are.
