ESOL Entry 1/2 Speaking & Listening

The course is for students in the early stages of learning English, who already have a small knowledge of the language. It is not for complete beginners. You can already understand and use familiar expressions and basic phrases. You can respond if spoken to slowly. You can write letters and numbers on a line with the correct spacing. You can read simple short texts on familiar topics and obtain information from signs and symbols. You will learn basic practical English for everyday life and for working in the UK and you will make progress with the basic grammar of English. The main focus of the class will be Speaking and Listening but you will also have the chance to improve your reading and writing skills, especially through your Individual Learning Plan and homework.
