A one day course exploring the craft of silversmithing. Students will be introduced to the basic techniques of shaping the silver, soldering, planishing with a hammer, using a pierce saw and polishing. Beginners and those with some experience welcome. It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity.

Entry requirements

If you have any Silversmithing tools please bring them along. You will also need to purchase silver from the tutor on the day. Please bring an apron as the polishing can get clothing dirty.
