Autumn Boot Camp

Bootcamp courses contain a mixture of cardio vasular, muscle toning, strength and flexibity exercises. The style will be of the army training style but will take account of mixed abilities. The class will take place outdoors in Tonbridge parkland, rain or shine. This is a medium to high impact cardiovascular and body toning class, using exercises to increase fitness and flexibility. Includes standing and floor-based strength and flexibility exercises. You will need to be able to follow verbal instructions, observe and copy physical movements and be mobile enough to at least jog.. By the end of this course you should be able to: - Locate muscle groups, . Know your limits and how to extend them, - Practise cardiovascular moves, - Exercise independently with minimal guidance, - Identify specific exercises for personal use outside of the class. - Recount at least three ways in which exercises can benefit health and wellbeing throughout various life stages. To assist us in providing a safe and healthy environment for you to exercise you will be asked to complete a Confidential Health Questionnaire. If you have suffered from any of the conditions listed, please check with a medical practitioner to find out whether this course is suitable for you. - Do you ever have chest pain? Have you had any operations or injuries in the last year? Do you often feel faint or dizzy? Are you on long term medication? Do you have high or low blood pressure? Do you have a bone or joint problem, such as Arthritis, Osteoporosis, back or knee pain? This course is aimed at anyone interested in exercise, keep fit and maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle.
