Pamper Time - Indian Head Massage

This is an opportunity for a bit on 'me time' or even 'our time'. Indian Head Massage is an effective way of reducing stress, inducing relaxation, and providing a feeling of well-being. Come along and learn a new skill, something you can share with family and friends, something to help relaxation, reduce stress and provide a feeling of well-being. Anyone over 19 is invited to this 'hands-on' taster day providing an introduction to Indian Head Massage plus a step-by-step guidance and instruction on how to give a treatment. By the end of the workshop you will be able to perform a simple shoulder, neck and head massage, with guidance where necessary, for use on family and friends. You will also be able to state at least 3 benefits/effects of Indian Head Massage. Anyone who would like an introduction to this fascinating subject is welcome.

Entry requirements

A large towel (with safety pin) or sarong, hair band or clip to keep hair off shoulders for that part of the massage, a small cushion or another rolled up towel to support the head and neck during part of the massage. Short nails help to perform the massage movements. It will be necessary to remove earrings, chains and large rings.
