The youth ESOL Programme at City College Coventry is for 16-18 year olds who are recent arrivals in the UK. Students work towards various Levels of ESOL qualifications. During the course, students will study skills in speaking and listening, reading and writing. Maths will also be included (with a target qualification) and work skills. There will be some independent learning each week. You will learn •Grammar of the English Language; -new vocabulary. How to spell, common and familiar words. •Create simple sentences in a variety of everyday topics such as food, health, education and work •Skills in reading short texts •How to write short messages, letters and e-mails using correct sentence structures
