Drawing and Painting - Improvers

The course will progress through a series of practical exercises and projects using a variety of subject/source material, aimed at promoting keen observation, improved drawing and paint handling skills with an exploratory approach to the expression of ideas and subject. The tutor seeks to equip students with the necessary skills, motivation and understanding to develop along the continually challenging search for a personal vision.This course will include some life drawing sessions. Students who have completed the Beginners course or have some experience.

Entry requirements

If you are a new student and have no materials please wait for your tutor's advice on what to buy. However, all students should bring an A4 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper, and a variety of pencils.You will need to provide your own materials and these will vary in cost according to the course requirements. We have materials available to buy at competitive prices.If you have any materials/equipment that might be appropriate please bring them with you.
