This is an accredited course and qualification which will enable you to develop the skills needed when supporting teaching and learning in a school environment. You will gain the knowledge needed when working directly with children or young people in school. The course is suitable for teaching assistants, learning support assistants or those in similar role. You will need to be working or volunteering in a school setting and environment as you will need to show competence in both knowledge and skills in the workplace and through a portfolio of evidence produced by you for assessment.
