This course is designed for people ready for a career change, keen gardeners or for professional development for existing gardeners. You will learn the skills and knowledge you need to propagate and grow a wide variety of ornamental plants. In addition you undertake the principles and practice of garden design and develop the confidence and expertise to manage lawns and grass areas. You may progress on to the Horticulture BTEC Level 3 Diploma.Government funding has changed for this course and is dependent upon your age and personal circumstances. Course costs are discussed on an individual basis. If you are aged 24 or over then you may be able to apply for a 24+ Advanced Learning Loan.
