The course will provide you with knowledge on the underlying principles of creative hair design and a variety of media make up techniques. You will learn the practical skills involved in being able to successfully carry out these services. The course is suitable for anyone who would like a career in hairstyling and make up artistry and those who may be progressing from either Beauty Therapy Diploma Level 2 or Hairdressing Diploma Level 2. You will study the following: * Health and Safety * Working with Colleagues * Camouflage Make Up * Airbrush Make Up * Face and Body Art * Fashion and Photographic Make Up * Creative Hair Design * Media Make Up * Lash and Brow Treatments * Prosthetic Pieces and Bald Caps All LMC students will receive tutorial support. All students aged 16 -19 are required to study Functional English and maths qualifications or GCSE Maths, English if not already awarded an A*-C in these subjects. Students aged 19+ are strongly encouraged to take relevant maths and English qualifications to support progression into Further or Higher education, training or employment.
