M10C04A: The aim of this course is to explore the History of Sussex from the Anglo-Saxon Settlements around 500 A.D. to the Stuart kings of the 1600s including the early Kingdom of Sussex, the Norman Conquest, the Black Death, the Protestant Reformation, and the English Civil Wars. This course has no formal level; it is for everyone with an interest in this subject.
