This course is aimed at those wishing to pursue a career as a beauty therapist in the exciting and fast evolving world of beauty. It provides you with in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical experience across a variety of modules including health and safety, facials, waxing, manicure, pedicure, make-up, eye treatments and spa operations. The practical workshops in our excellent salon facilities will enable you to learn the professional approach to client consultation, treatment application and techniques, appropriate homecare and aftercare advice. Throughout your training programme you will be required to carry out treatments on peers and paying clients. The Spa and Salon is a high-tech learning environment, providing you with the best facilities and products. You will also engage in work related learning to help build your confidence levels and enable you to move effectively into the Level 3 programme.
