A two year intensive acting course for those wishing to progress from vocational study to a professional career in the arts. A full time course over 4 days from Monday to Thursday leaving 3 days in the week for further study and/or work. You will work with industry directors, teachers, agents and casting directors preparing you for the industry. You will receive individual mentoring and work within a tight collaborative unit. This will expand your creativity, confidence, skill and courage and will lead to a focused understanding of both collective and personal artistic development. There is a focus on performance coupled with rigorous methodological grounding. The second year acts as a self contained company continuing classes while performing both internally and in external venues. Please see course brochure or go online for more course details. You will be entitled to a Student Equity card and be able to enter the professional Spotlight directory and access its services. Upon graduation you will have your own screen show-reel, audio reel and have performed in an agents/CD showcase. Each student will leave having developed their own voices as creative artists plus created a comprehensive business plan in order to be better equipped to step into the industry.
