The HSLC is an exciting course where you complete 7 units of study about sport leadership. You will also complete 30 hours of community sports work with children, and people with disabilities. The units of study include: developing leadership skills, provision of sport within the community, leading sessions designed to improve fitness, organising and leading a sports event or competition, legal and ethical responsibilities when working with others, leading sport/activity sessions for children and leading sport/activity sessions for disabled people. The ability to work in a team is essential.
