This free course will help you improve your skills and gain a nationally recognised qualification: City &Guilds Functional Skills maths at Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2. The programme is designed to: Develop your skills and confidence in all areas of maths Help you at work Improve your chances of getting a job or changing career Help you with ordinary activities such as shopping and paying household bills. Enable you to progress onto other courses e.g. GCSEs The course will cover a range of topics such as number, measure and handling data. Functional Skills maths is about using maths in the real world, so these topics will be put into an everyday, practical context giving you practice in using your knowledge and skills in real-life situations.
