UPDATED 20150603 14:14:31

Apprenticeships are a popular choice for young people aged 16 - 24* looking for on-the-job training and the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications whilst earning a wage. Most of your training will be directly linked to the career you have chosen, gaining practical experience in the workplace, backed up by attendance at college just one day a week. An Advanced Apprenticeship in Accountancy will develop your employability skills and give you valuable experience of a variety of routine business related activities. You will be working in an office environment where your duties could encompass many areas of office work such as written communications, telephone communications, customer enquiries, computer systems, paper filing systems, photocopying, payroll, receipts, orders, invoices etc. Your exact duties will depend upon your employer.
