This fast paced course is aimed at those 19+ who are looking to gain a qualification to enhance their work place knowledge of accounting or to retrain into a career in the finance sector. Students start on the Level 2 Certificate in September and, on successful completion, continue on to the Level 3 Diploma in January, to complete both levels within a one year time frame. This course covers five units in: Processing bookkeeping transactions; Control accounts, journals and the banking system; Basic costing; and Working effectively in accounting and finance. Assessment takes place throughout the course by e-assessments set by the AAT.
