This Managing Remote Teams Course provides an in-depth exploration of the specific challenges related to managing teams that are spread over more than one location, whether nationally or internationally. To this end, the 1-day programme tackles the primary remote management issues including communication, task allocation and performance management, providing delegates with an understanding of the different ways in which they can enhance teamwork when team members are physically distant from one another. Delivered in a relaxed workshop style, the course aims to build a set of actions that managers can implement upon return to the workplace, including: - involving team members in planning activities - allocating tasks in a way that fosters a culture of team working across locations - implementing a communications plan for use within the team - taking full advantage of visits to each location
