Learners will start with the basics: exploring wire work and various stringing techniques (cord, beading wire, memory wire, thread) and how to use the findings and tools. The course will continue to introduce tools and techniques while learners, working at their own pace, will undertake projects to build on their new skills, using research and colour wheel to aid design. Learners will be expected to keep a small sketchbook to show how their work and design technique develops over the course.
