Week 1: Starting with the basics, students will use chain and treble stitches to make Christmas garlands to decorate their homes. Week 2 : Using crochet in the round and basic double crochet, we will make two small baubles for the tree. Week 3: Again using double crochet, this time learning how to change colours, we will make an angel or fairy for the tree. Week 4: Making a festive felted bowl using a variety of yarns. Week 5: Using smaller hooks to create a holly brooch and start making foliage for a Christmas Wreath. Week 6: Finishing off all projects, especially the wreath and making a large bauble with patterning.
