In your role as a Warehouse Operative you will work as part of a team. You may be required to load / unload vehicles. You will also have delegated responsibility for the correct selection and packing of customer orders, ensuring they are ready for dispatch on time. On the Apprenticeship you will undertake a Certificate in Warehousing and Storage Level 2. This is a combined qualification that covers the knowledge and competence needed. Elements will be achieved through completion of the mandatory and optional units. The choice of knowledge units will depend on the role decided at the start of the course. In addition you will study: Employee Rights and Responsibilities; Personal Learning and Thinking Skills; Functional Skills Level 1 in English and Maths.
