This course will develop your skills and knowledge required for play workers or aspiring play workers, play support workers or play facilitators. You will gain the skills to communicate effectively with young people and to help their development through play. It is designed for those who have recently been employed or who are volunteering to support play within a variety of play settings. You could use it to work with school-aged children in leisure centres, schools, holiday and afterschool clubs, Brownies, Guides, and Scouts, Sea Cadets or school lunchtime play facilitators.
