Who is the course for: Students returning to education to complete a 1 year foundation programme giving access to university. Course Content: Communication BusinessInformation Systems Applying to HE. Specialist units include: Business management Law Finance Setting up a business Economics. Study Methods: A variety of modes of delivery are used including lectures, group work and discussion, roblem solving activities, presentations and seminars, individual practical work in class, irected private study time, individual support and interviews. How is the course assessed: There will be a variety of assessment methods for each unit in order to achieve credits, and there will be some time constrained tests or examinations in some of the units. Where next, Further Studies: Successful students can go on to study a HNC/D at Uxbridge College or a full or parttime degree at most UK universities. Where next, Job Opportunities: Once completed further study at university, students can go into employment in the business sector.
