This foundation course is a Level 1 City and Guilds programme. It is for the student wishing to start a career in the garage trade and will give a basic introduction to all vehicle systems. Most of the course is workshop based with one day theory. Students will study basic servicing operations covering: Cooling * Ignition * Lubrication * Emission Systems * Steering * Suspension Systems. Students will also study Workshop Safe Working Practices.
