This NVQ is aimed at individuals who enjoy dealing with the public on a daily basis. The apprenticeship consists of the following qualifications, Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Customer Service, Level 2 technical Certificate in customer service, Functional Skills Communication Level 1, unless exempt. Functional Skills Application of Number level 1, unless exempt. The course is customised to meet the person's requirements. The mandatory units for the NVQ are, communicate using customer service and follow the rules to deliver customer service. Whilst some of the optional units are, give customers a positive impression of yourself and your organisation, deal with customers face to face, deal with incoming telephone calls from customers and deliver reliable customer service. You will expand and develop new skills throughout the course.
