A one day course that introduces the basic methods and materials used to create abstract images. You will consider the origins of abstract art and the wide variety of approaches that have evolved. There will be a strong emphasis on the use of experimental methods, and how materials, concepts and symbols contribute to making abstract work. The course will provide a stimulating workshop environment for anyone looking to develop their drawing and painting skills., , , Beginners. It is important to note that art courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity.
