The Food Safety Act 1990 incorporating the Food Safety (England) Regulations 2006 gives local authorities powers to enforce food laws and penalties if the law is broken. In order to keep within the framework of the law and to be able to prove due diligence, if necessary, it is important that everyone in every sphere of the food and drink industry receive food safety training at the appropriate level.This qualification is for supervisors or owners of small businesses.
