This one year full-time course offers you a nationally recognised qualification in hairdressing. The course is detailed, carefully planned and designed to give you a wide variety of technical skills. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to take part in in-house and external competitions, fund raising, fancy dress and many more activities. Training at the College takes place in real live working environments and students are updated throughout the course on new techniques and products coming into the industry. The course is suitable for anyone who has a Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing and would like to further their career in the hairdressing industry. You will study the following Health and Safety Give Clients a Positive Impression of Yourself and Your Organisation Advise and Consult with Clients Cutting Hair Shampoo and Condition Hair and Scalp Setting and Dressing Style and Finish Hair Changing Hair Colour Plaiting and Twisting Fulfil Reception Duties All LMC students will receive tutorial support and take a programme of Functional Skills including maths and English.
