Creative Writing - Writing Scripts

The course will look at basic techniques of writing for Television, film and radio. Throughout the day learners will have plenty of exercises to develop their skills and learn to avoid common pitfalls. Learners will learn how to take a story idea and turn it into a treatment. Learn how to break their treatment into scenes, the building blocks of drama. Learn when to use dialogue effectively and when to let actions speak instead. Learn how to pace their stories. Learn when to finish their stories.
