Pastel Portraits

This pastel landscape course will cover drawing and observation skills as well as encouraging experimentation and mixed media working where appropriate. Working from observation of landscape scenes, and using pastels, unserstanding their use and application, students will be introduced to conventional and experimental approaches to drawing the landscape using pastels.Students will reference the work of both contemporary and historical artists for styles and techniques. Beginners or those with experience.It is important to note that art courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity for you to participate fully and get the most out of the course.
