Traineeship

UPDATED 20160921 11:02:40

The Traineeship programme helps unemployed young people to develop the skills and experience necessary to progress to an Apprenticeship, further learning or long term employment. You will attend voluntary, compulsory work experience placement(s), for three days a week and undertake work preparation study, here at the centre. During your work experience, you will have the opportunity to gain and demonstrate valuable, transferable employability skills, which will ensure that when you take your first steps towards your future career, you will have confidence to succeed. We work with you to secure a suitable work placement and we strive to ensure it meets your career aspirations. Within the programme you also have the opportunity to achieve Functional Skills in English, Mathematics and ICT up to L2 (equivalent to GCSE grades A-C), if you have not already achieved these qualifications.
