Come and learn to play bridge - the most popular indoor game on this 'Bridge - Beginners' course in Maidstone. By the end of the course you will be able to: - Explain the basic rules of Bridge, - Know what is required to make an opening bid at the one level and simple responses, - Plan the play of a hand as declarer in no trumps or suit contacts, - Defend the hand, choosing opening leads and use basic defensive signals. Suitable for students who have received the equivalent of 40 hours of bridge tuition, or have learnt the basics of bidding and playing bridge without a competitive auction. This course in Maidstone assumes knowledge of the 1NT opening bid and responses.
