This course aims to provide students with the basic theoretical and practical skills needed to produce a piece of furniture. The programme is ideal for people who have no previous experience but are interested in furniture design and making. The workshops are delivered by experienced tutors in both wood machining and cabinet-making, through to surface finishing. All tools and materials for initial development work will be supplied but students will have to purchase materials for their own individual projects.
