This course teaches the skills needed to work as an assistant beauty therapist. If students are successful at this level they may progress onto Beauty Therapy Diploma Level 2. This course is taught through Class tuition - along with guided assignments and on-going assessment in a realistic working environment. Students will study two Functional Skills from English or maths or ICT as part of their main programme. The aim of the Qualification is to povide a background understanding of the Hair and Beauty Industries / Provide an awareness of the range of jobs and work settings in the sector / Learn and develop skills to make informed decisions on career progression and development within the hair and beauty industry. Kit Costs - Uniform: around 39 pounds / Make-up Kit around 49 pounds / Practical Kit including Text Book around 72 pounds.
