Learn how to design and build a website to a basic level and understand how the web works. This course will introduce you to professional software for web design; Adobe Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Photoshop to create interactive products.

Name: Web Design Level 1 Award Qualification title: Award in Interactive Media (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment The tutor will guide you through class exercises and a set project. There is no formal examination. You will be assessed on the work you produce for your project and your work in class which you must hand in at the end. Entry requirements

You will need a notebook and pen, a USB stick to take your digital work home. Ideally, you will need access to Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Photoshop to practice your skills. For those learners who do not own this software, you can access all three in the Learning Centres at Pimlico and Lisson Grove.
