This course is run over three days (four with Medication session). This course is for all new staff working in the social care setting. This course can be adapted to meet needs of staff working in children's acre settings. Topics covered are Professional and Company Induction, Roles and Responsibilities (duty of care and professional boundaries), Personal Development Plan, Effective Communication, Report Writing and Recording, Personal Care, Moving and Handling, Person Centre Support, Health and Safety (including Fire and Infection Control), Food Hygiene and Nutrition, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, Medication (if four day attended)
