Safeguarding Children Learning

UPDATED 20150526 08:40:04

Our Safeguarding Children Learning workshops follow the new LSCB Competency Framework that has been in place since April 2014. The Competency Framework promotes the importance of understanding a child’s daily life, never losing sight of their needs and feeling confident that as a practitioner you know what to do to protect the children in your care. The framework outlines the minimum requirements for safeguarding children learning. The Safeguarding Children workshops will provide an emphasis on learning, reflection and recording what has been learnt. Supporting paperwork will be available to enable all practitioners to record/log evidence of their learning and how it is embedded in their daily practice.
