Name: Travel and Tourism BTEC Level 2 Diploma Qualification title: Diploma in Travel and Tourism (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment There are two externally set, multiple choice, on-line tests included in the diploma course. The rest of the course is assessed internally through assignments that are designed to provide a variety of means of assessment including written reports, presentations, written tests and role-plays. For example, you may be assessed handling a problem at check-in, developing a promotional campaign for a new travel business or working out what the time is in Sydney when its 10am in London. A portfolio of work will be completed with each individual unit being assessed at pass, merit or distinction.
