Gardening - pruning skills

You will learn the correct and safe use of appropriate pruning tools and develop your pruning skills for a wide range of plants. The course will specifically cover formative pruning, pruning for stem colour, identification and requirements of spring and summer flowering shrubs and techniques for climbing and rambling plants. This is a classroom based course that will combine gardening theory with practical demonstration of techniques.
