The BIIAB National Certificate For Personal Licence Holders provides the essential theoretical and legal knowledge required for people wishing to become licensees. During the course some of the topics you will study include: Understanding the nature, purpose, validity and application process for a personal licence, including the legal duties of an applicant with regard to relevant offences Understanding the roles, responsibilities and functions of licensing authorities within the framework of the licensing objectives State relevant law on unauthorised licensable activities and the penalties for breach The course is examined by one 40 question multiple choice exam. This course provides candidates with the approved qualification to enable them to apply to their local authority for a Personal Licence, authorising them to supply alcohol from any premises approved for the purpose.
