Gain an understanding of the creative path from drawing to painting. A series of experiments and drawing exercises will introduce you to ways of seeing. You will explore line, tone, shape, form and mark-making using pencil and charcoal. We will engage in a series of structured projects that explore the relationship between drawing and painting. There will be group discussions and evaluations, individual tutorials, and explorations of works by selected artists.
