This course is suitable for young learners who would like to gain initial and introductory knowledge for caring for children. This may be an ideal qualification for those who want to work as babysitters or intend to enter the childcare sector once out of education. The full Level 2 Certificate requires the completion of both the Level 2 Award in Babysitting and the Level 2 Award in Preparations and Responsibilities of Parenting. Our system works by pairing each learner with one of our professional tutors, all of which have a wealth of experience in the childcare sector. The learner’s tutor will commit to weekly contact as well as monthly teaching sessions. Tutors are also available by phone, email and Skype if the learner requires it. Learners are given secure, personal access to their Laser teaching and learning programme, which also doubles as their e-portfolio.
