You will study a range of subjects relevant to the industry such as: - The Principles of Flight- - Working as Cabin Crew- - Airline Health- Safety and Security on the Ground and in the air- - Ramp Handling and Operations- - Aircraft Emergency Situations- - Dealing with & Handling Passengers on board an aircraft and on the ground- - Cabin Service- - Making Passenger Announcements onboard- - Aviation Meteorology for Cabin Crew & Ground Staff- - Preparation for Employment.

Entry requirements

You will need to dress smartly and wear an appropriate uniform. You will be expected to attend all day trips throughout the year and the residential study visit. There will be an additional cost of £400 to cover the cost of all trips and travel for the academic year. You will also be required to purchase a uniform details of which will be given upon successful completion of the Welcome Day. Good levels of English and Maths are important for your success in your course- your chosen vocation and life. Throughout your course you will continue to develop your English and Maths skills in your vocational classes. If you haven't achieved an A*-C grade in English or Maths at GCSE- or a Level 2 Functional Skill- you will also be working towards a qualification in English or Maths at a level that will enable you to progress towards these grades. If you have a Learning Difficulty or Disability please let us know when you apply. You will be offered support in your interview.
