In Year 1 (Subsidiary Diploma) you will study: Unit 1: Principles of Anatomy and Physiology in Sport Unit 2: The Physiology of Fitness Unit 3: Assessing Risk in Sport Unit 7: Fitness Testing for Sport and Exercise Unit 8: Practical Team Sports Unit 11: Sports Nutrition Unit 17: Psychology for Sports Performance In Year 2 (Diploma) you will study: Unit 4: Fitness Training and Programming Unit 27: Technical and Tactical Skill in Sport Unit 18: Sports Injuries Unit 5: Sports Coaching Unit 15: Instructing Physical Activity and Exercise You will experience a variety of both practical and theory teaching methods to enhance your learning and understanding. Participation in all practical sessions is mandatory, enabling you to reach and maintain a full understanding by putting theory into practice.
