The BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma is a full-time Engineering course and continues on from the one year, BTEC Level 3 90 Credit Diploma in Engineering. This course is equivalent to three A Levels. It provides the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in the design, development and manufacture and maintenance of engineering products and systems. The course is practical, work related and follows a manufacturing pathway developed by BTEC. Learning is achieved through the completion of projects and assignments based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. The course is suitable for school leavers and young adults.
