Appreciating Literature

This course is a celebration of literature. The course examines some ofliterature's greatest writers and their impact on the novel, poetry and the creation of characters. Included also is some autobiographical detail of selected writers, how close enagement with the text enhances our reading pleasure and how writers employ certain literary techniques to captivate and engage the reader.
