All students take seven core/mandatory units: • Human lifespan development • Health and social care values • Effective communication in health and social care • Health living • Carrying out a research project in health and social care • Individual rights in health and social care • Equality and diversity in health and social care You will also take four-six optional units (depending on unit size) such as: • An introduction to basic first aid • Vocational experience in health and social care • Understanding disability
