Units covered: Unit 17: Building regulations and control in construction; Unit 07: Project management in construction and the built environment; Unit 09: Measuring, estimating and tendering processes in construction and the built environment; Unit 11: Economics and finance in construction and civil engineering; Unit 13: Underpinning science for the provision of human comfort in buildings; Unit 16: Mechanical and electrical services in construction; Unit 10: Surveying in construction and civil engineering; Unit 43: Employment frameworks in the built environment; Unit 46: Tendering and estimating in construction. These should have been covered in the subdiploma: Unit 01: Health, safety and welfare in construction and the built environment; Unit 02: Sustainable construction; Unit 03: Mathematics in construction and the built environment; Unit 04: Science and materials in construction and the built environment; Unit 05: Construction technology and design in construction and civil engineering; Unit 06: Building technology in construction; Unit 08: Graphical detailing in construction and the built environment; Unit 15: Building surveying in construction; Unit 53: Personal and professional development in the built environment. If you successfully complete the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Construction & the Built Environment (180-credit), it will enable you to progress to university and undertake a higher qualification in a Construction related discipline."
